This is a very exciting year for District 4 as we will be hosting the 2008 U.S. Nationals at Richmond County Yacht Club in Staten Island, NY. Paul Scalisi will need our membership to pull together to assist with the measurement and other endless tasks associated with running a National Championship. Please contact Paul to help with measurement or any of the other tasks on his list.

The 2009 J/24 World Championship will be in Annapolis, MD. The 2008 Parkway Circuit champion will qualify as the District 4 champion. The 2008 Nationals will also provide a couple of qualifying spots. Jarrett Lynn has been selected as the District Governor for 2008. The schedule for the 2008 J/24 Parkway Circuit has been set. Once again, the format shall be a seven regatta circuit which shall count only the best four (4) regatta finishes.

May 15-18 US Nationals / Transplant Cup Regatta, Staten Island, NY
May 24-25 Memorial Day Regatta, Perth Amboy, NJ
June 14-15 Dead Crab Regatta, Cape May, NJ
July 26-27 Sandy Hook Bay Regatta, Atlantic Highlands, NJ
August 1-3 Heart Cup Regatta, Ocean City, NJ
Sept. 6-7 Toms River Regatta, Toms River, NJ
Oct. 4-5 Metedeconk Regatta, Brick, NJ
